What selling with us means

A price the market will pay

Our valuation is built from closed transactions and current buyer books, not from what a listing needs to say to win your signature.

Reach without noise

Public listing, quiet circulation or a fully off-market sale: we recommend the route that fits the yacht, and we say why.

Marketing at yacht level

Photography, film and particulars produced to the standard the price implies. Buyers notice the difference before they notice the yacht.

One broker, start to finish

The person who values your yacht runs the viewings, the negotiation and the closing. Nothing is handed down a desk.

Balance sold our yacht in five months, and nobody heard about it until it was done.

Questions we hear often

What does selling through Balance cost?

A single success-based commission at closing, agreed in writing before we start. Marketing, photography and film for the listing are produced at our cost; there are no monthly fees and nothing to pay if the yacht does not sell.

Public listing or off-market: which is right for my yacht?

It depends on the yacht and on how much the market already knows her. A public listing works the whole market; a quiet sale works our buyer book at a firmer price. We recommend one route and tell you why, and we have closed more sales off-market than on.

What should I prepare before asking for a valuation?

Class records, maintenance history and the date of the last yard period matter more than photographs. A yacht with her paperwork in order sells as a plan; one without sells as a problem, at a discount that dwarfs any refit invoice.

Can I keep using the yacht while she is for sale?

Yes, and you should. A yacht that is run, crewed and warm shows better than one laid up. We plan viewings around your calendar, not the other way round.
