The Greek Islands
White villages, deep anchorages and a wind that rewards good planning.
The Cyclades are the most rewarding charter ground in the Mediterranean for guests who like to move. Distances between islands are honest sailing legs, not hops, and every arrival is an amphitheatre: Serifos at dusk, the caldera at Santorini, the chapel islet off Sifnos.
The meltemi shapes every good itinerary here. Our charter team plans north-to-south with the wind, keeps the lee-shore bays in reserve, and knows which harbours fill by noon in August. That is the difference between a week you tolerate and a week you repeat.
Season: late May to mid-October. Sweet spot: September, when the water is warmest and the crowds have flown home.
